Richard Pryor Reveals Past Encounters with Men in Vintage Footage
A recent interview conducted by Quincy Jones has sparked widespread discussions regarding the s**ual orientation of the late comedic legend, Richard Pryor.
During the interview, Quincy made controversial claims suggesting that Marlon Brando had engaged in intimate relations with Pryor, as well as with Marvin Gaye and James Baldwin.
Describing Brando as incredibly charismatic, Quincy alleged that he was open to various encounters without any reservations.
When questioned further about Brando's interactions with Baldwin, Pryor, and Gaye, Quincy responded with a disapproving expression, implying that Brando exhibited a carefree attitude towards his relationships with others.
Following the broadcast of the interview, there has been a surge of reactions debating the validity of Quincy's assertions.
In an old video clip, Pryor humorously confesses to having had encounters with men in the past.
The footage, believed to be from a roast for comedian Paul Mooney, captures Pryor's candid remarks, which were met with laughter from the audience, possibly indicating that they perceived his words as jest.
During the event, Pryor revealed, “Paul was there when I had my first encounter with a man.
And he's been teasing me about it for two years.
I acknowledge that I engaged with a man, and I am publicly disclosing it now to prevent others from spreading rumors.”
He continued, “I found the experience enjoyable.
In fact, I would have considered marrying him if circumstances had allowed, but he had other plans and underwent a surgical procedure.”
Corroborating these revelations, Pryor's widow, Jenner, affirmed that Pryor had indeed been involved with Brando and admitted that he identified as bisexual.
