Demi Moore didn't receive an invitation to the funeral of her former spouse, Freddy Moore, as disclosed by his widow, Renee, who unveiled the sorrowful rationale behind this decision.

Despite standing by her ex-husband Bruce Willis during his battle with dementia, the actress faced exclusion from Freddy Moore's final rites after he succumbed to Alzheimer's at 72 in August 2022, mainly due to her lack of condolences.

Renee divulged that Demi had contacted her before Freddy's demise, appearing compassionate initially.

However, Renee later detected underlying intentions in the email she received from the 60-year-old G.I.

Jane star, suspecting that it was connected to potential disparaging remarks about Freddy in Demi's memoir, which soured their interactions.

Consequently, Renee voiced her disapproval and declined any further involvement with Demi.

Expressing dissatisfaction with Demi's 2019 book, “Inside Out,” Renee highlighted various aspects that troubled her, especially feeling slighted by the content.

Referring to Demi's depiction of her constant presence at their residence as bothersome, Renee clarified that their association was merely on friendly terms, despite Demi's negative portrayal in the book.

Furthermore, Renee expressed dismay over the portrayal of her late husband in Demi's memoir, where she admitted to being unfaithful on the eve of their wedding.

Rick, as Renee fondly referred to Freddy, was praised as an exceptional, honorable, and devoted individual by her, emphasizing his deep affection for Demi despite her infidelities.

Demi and Freddy tied the knot in 1981 when she was just 18 years old, but their marriage ended in separation two years later, culminating in a divorce in 1985.

Subsequently, Freddy found love with Renee, his third wife, whom he married in 2005, marking a new chapter in his life post his relationship with Demi back in the early '80s.
