In her tell-all book, Inside Out, the 56-year-old actress opened up about her turbulent relationship with musician Freddy Moore, whom she married at the young age of 18 in 1980.
Their marriage came to an end in 1985.
Instead of preparing her vows the night before their wedding, Demi disclosed that she contacted a man she had met on a movie set and sneaked out of her own bachelorette party to visit his apartment, reflecting on her actions with regret and introspection.
Struggling with unresolved grief over her father's death, Demi expressed that she found herself unable to confront her doubts and fears about the impending marriage, leading her to make choices that ultimately sabotaged the relationship she was about to enter.
Following her split from Freddy Moore, Demi went on to marry actor Bruce Willis in 1987, with whom she shares three daughters.
The couple parted ways in 2000, paving the way for a new chapter in Demi's personal life.
In 2003, Demi entered into a relationship with Ashton Kutcher, describing it as a chance for a fresh start and an opportunity to relive aspects of her youth due to their significant age gap.
