If Prince Harry and Meghan Markle choose to attend King Charles III's coronation in London, they may find themselves facing a chilly reception from the royal family.
Insider sources close to the royal circle have revealed that numerous family members have privately expressed disinterest in engaging with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex due to their public criticisms of the monarchy.
Speculations suggest that some royals even hope to seat the Sussexes in Iceland during the ceremony at Westminster Cathedral on May 6.
“They will receive the cold shoulder from a lot of relatives,” a family acquaintance shared with The Daily Mail, adding that many within the family have reached a point of being done with them and prefer to distance themselves.
Despite potential frostiness, it is anticipated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might still participate in other activities surrounding the coronation, although they are unlikely to make an appearance on the balcony as per palace sources.
The couple's presence at the event is expected to be divisive, given their recent critical ventures such as the Netflix documentary series and Prince Harry's forthcoming memoir, which shed light on their strained relationship with the royal household.
As the countdown to the coronation continues, there is speculation regarding Prince Harry's attendance, whether he will be accompanied by his young family or appear solo.
Some predict that Meghan might opt out of the event to celebrate their son Archie's fourth birthday in the U.S. or elsewhere.
Alternatively, there are suggestions that the family might all travel together and stay at Frogmore Cottage, their former residence.
While their children are deemed too young to partake in the formalities, efforts may be made to ensure that Archie's birthday is commemorated if the Sussexes do make the journey to London.
Shifting focus to another royal figure, Zara Tindall, daughter of Princess Anne, has opened up about the challenges she faces as a working mother of three.
Husband Mike Tindall commended her dedication to their children, Mia, Lena, and Lucas, highlighting Zara's internal struggles with balancing work commitments and parenting responsibilities.
At a recent event, Mike expressed admiration for his wife's unwavering commitment to their family, emphasizing her qualities of passion, compassion, and dedication that he believes define her as an exceptional mother.
The Tindalls' daughters, Mia and Lena, have already shown an interest in following their father's footsteps by joining a rugby club at a young age.
Mike shared his delight in seeing the girls engage in sports activities, particularly rugby, indicating that they enjoy participating in various sports.
Despite their recent trip to Australia for a holiday, Mike dismissed speculations about moving there permanently, affirming that their love for the country and its lifestyle does not equate to plans for relocation.
He clarified that while Australia holds a special place in their hearts, settling there permanently is not currently on the horizon for the Tindall family.
