In a recent revelation, James Franco has denied being one of Lindsay Lohan's past romantic partners.
Lohan had previously listed Franco along with 35 other names in her alleged s** list, which was leaked by In Touch magazine.
The tabloid claimed that Lohan had written down the names of her previous lovers and left the list behind at the Beverly Hills Hotel on January 30th.
Lohan has not publicly commented on the story or the subsequent allegations made by the magazine, which included encounters with celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Orlando Bloom, Ryan Phillippe, and Ashton Kutcher.
Franco, known for his roles in movies like “Of Mice and Men,” opens up about Hollywood and certain celebrities in his poetry book, “Directing Herbert White.”
Speaking to Los Angeles Magazine, the 35-year-old actor clarifies, “I didn't write anything negative about them.
And Lindsay herself has spread lies about me with her supposed list of people she's slept with!
So I believe what I said is much less harmful than what she's said.”
It is worth noting that Lohan has never admitted to writing the list in question.
During a SiriusXM radio interview with Howard Stern in March 2012, Franco first addressed the rumors surrounding his relationship with Lohan.
Stern asked him if he had turned down s** with Lohan back when she was considered more attractive.
Franco, wanting to avoid any controversy, responded by saying, “Oh, gosh.
Poor Lindsay.
I haven't spoken to her in a while…We were friends.”
Franco reveals that he initially met Lohan through mutual acquaintances while he was staying at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in West Hollywood.
“My house in L.A. was being renovated, so I decided to stay at the hotel, and she had been living there for a couple of years,” recalls the “Spring Breakers” star.
Stern persisted in questioning Franco about his relationship with Lohan, asking the actor if he had turned her down s**ually.
“I don't want to boast about it,” he replied.
“I have no idea how that rumor started.”
Franco goes on to explain that Lohan was going through personal issues at the time, having been arrested six times in less than a decade.
He adds, “She was struggling even then, so you feel uncomfortable.
Honestly, she was a friend.
I've encountered many troubled individuals, and sometimes you don't want
