Recalling a past encounter with Prince Philip's disapproval of his work at Buckingham Palace, Laurence humorously recounted the royal's disdain for his flooring design, which abruptly ended their conversation.

As Laurence embarks on a transformative 15-day pilgrimage across the UK, covering 1,600 kilometers on foot and by boat, he sets out on a spiritual quest alongside a diverse group of fellow pilgrims.

Among them are former England cricketer Monty Panniser, actress Louisa Cline, and Nick Huor, who brings a blend of agnosticism and Catholic heritage to the journey.

Their path will lead them through Ireland, Northern Ireland, and ultimately to the sacred grounds of Iona, where St Columba's legacy endures.

Tonight, viewers can witness this captivating spiritual odyssey unfold on BBC Two at 9 pm as Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen and his fellow pilgrims delve into the depths of self-discovery and enlightenment on Pilgrimage.
