South Park Takes Aim at Prince Harry and Meghan in Latest Episode

In the latest episode of the long-standing Comedy Central show South Park, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have set their sights on and Meghan.

Titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour,” episode 2 of season 26 sees the Prince of Canada and his wife seeking refuge in a quiet mountain town in search of privacy and seclusion.

The teaser clip reveals Kyle expressing his frustration to his friends, exclaiming, “It's seriously driving me crazy, I'm sick of hearing about them, but I can't get away from them.

They're everywhere.

In my face.”

To which his friend Stan responds nonchalantly, “Look Kyle, we just kinda don't care about some dumb prince and his stupid wife.”

With nearly 1.5 million viewers tuning in to each episode, it seems that sentiments similar to those expressed in South Park are resonating throughout the entertainment industry.

The show's humorous take on the royal couple suggests that they may be facing some backlash in the public eye.

This episode comes hot on the heels of 's press tour for his memoir “Spare,” as well as the launch of the couple's Netflix docuseries and Meghan's podcast “Archetypes.”

Despite their repeated pleas for privacy, the couple continues to be in the spotlight.

The reaction from the American media to Prince Harry and has taken a mocking tone following the release of Harry's memoir.

This shift in perception marks a stark contrast to the sympathy and support the couple received after their interview with just two years ago.

From divulging details of private conversations to sharing intimate stories, Prince Harry's revelations have opened him up to ridicule, especially since relocating to the US in 2020.

The fallout from his memoir has caused a significant decline in the couple's popularity both in the UK and the US.

Following their explosive interview with , where they made serious allegations against the , including concerns about their future children's skin color, the couple faced a backlash.

The Queen even issued a rare statement acknowledging differing recollections of events.

The entertainment media landscape in the US has been quick to poke fun at Prince Harry and Meghan, from late-night talk show parodies to award show hosts cracking jokes at their expense.

Commentators have noted that even straight-laced Americans are growing weary of the couple's public persona.

According to TalkTV's Kevin O'Sullivan, Americans are becoming increasingly disillusioned with Meghan and Harry, particularly in light of the revelations in Harry's memoir.

The disclosure about Harry losing his virginity in a field has tarnished the fairy tale image of the royal couple in the eyes of many.

Recent polls indicate a sharp decline in Meghan and Harry's popularity in the US, with Prince Harry's favorability rating dropping significantly.

The Redfield and Wilton poll, conducted for Newsweek and surveying 2,000 eligible US voters, reflects a notable shift in public opinion towards the royal couple.
