In a shocking revelation, Gianni Russo, known for his role as Carlo Rizzi in The Godfather, has come forward claiming that the legendary Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe was not a victim of a barbiturate overdose, as officially stated.
According to Russo, Monroe was murdered, and he points the finger at none other than Robert Kennedy, who orchestrated her demise to prevent the exposure of his relationship with Monroe and his brother, John F. Kennedy.
Russo, now 75 years old, alleges that Monroe's death was a carefully planned assassination carried out by Robert Kennedy.
He adamantly asserts, “It had to be Bobby.
No one else would kill her.
The mob would not have done it.
They liked her.”
Russo goes on to describe Monroe as a “party girl” who could easily be manipulated with pills and alcohol.
The actor claims to have engaged in a tumultuous affair with Monroe that spanned several years, commencing when he was just 16 years old and Monroe was 33.
Recalling their relationship, Russo fondly reminisces, “Marilyn was the best lover.
She just wanted to please you.”
Furthermore, Russo proudly displays a photograph taken with Monroe merely three days before her untimely death on August 5, 1962, at the CalNeva Lodge.
According to Russo, the alleged motive behind Monroe's murder stemmed from her threat to expose a scandal involving herself, John F. Kennedy, and Robert Kennedy.
When she discovered a plot to film her engaging in a compromising situation with the Kennedy brothers, Monroe vowed to go public with the information.
In response, Robert Kennedy purportedly orchestrated her assassination to ensure her silence.
The circumstances surrounding Monroe's death, initially declared a drug overdose by coroners, quickly unravelled following Russo's claims.
He asserts that the Mafia, led by Chicago crime boss Sam Giancana, had Monroe under surveillance in an attempt to leverage her relationship with the Kennedys for political gain.
Their plan involved capturing incriminating footage of Monroe with the President and his brother to manipulate JFK into fulfilling their demands related to Cuba.
Despite their elaborate scheme, the plan to coerce JFK into compliance ultimately fell apart when the President failed to materialize at the rendezvous point.
Sensing imminent danger, Monroe threatened to expose the Mafia's conspiracy, prompting Robert Kennedy to take drastic measures to safeguard his reputation.
In a harrowing account, Russo discloses the method by which Monroe met her tragic end.
Allegedly, a professional hitman known as “The Doctor” injected air into a vein near Monroe's pubic region, causing a fatal embolism.
Despite the true cause of death, the coroner's report attributed Monroe's passing to a drug overdose, concealing the sinister machinations that led to her demise.
Gianni Russo's forthcoming memoir, “Hollywood Godfather,” promises to shed further light on his encounters with luminaries from the entertainment industry and the criminal underworld.
Scheduled for release on March 12, the book is expected to provide additional insights into the enigmatic life of Marilyn Monroe and the shadowy forces that conspired against her.
