Each property is sold “As Is,” with no warranties provided regarding its condition, size, quality, or historical significance.
Neither Julien’s nor the consignor guarantee the accuracy of descriptions in the catalogue or any other information related to the property.
Any statements made by employees, whether in print or orally, are not considered warranties.
There is no assurance given regarding the acquisition of any copyrights associated with the purchased property.
Prospective bidders participating in live auctions are advised to inspect the items before bidding to assess their condition and authenticity.

Upon successfully winning a bid, a buyer’s premium will be added to the hammer price, payable as part of the total purchase amount.
The buyer must acknowledge and agree to a 25% Buyer’s Premium on each lot with a hammer price ranging from $0 to $200,000.
For lots exceeding $200,000, an additional 20% premium will apply to the amount above $200,000.
Moreover, there is a 3% buyer’s premium for online purchases, with a minimum premium of $25 per lot.
Payment methods accepted include checks payable to Julien’s Auctions, wire transfers, cashier’s checks, personal checks, MasterCard, and Visa.
California and New York residents, as well as items picked up in California, are subject to sales tax.
Shipping arrangements are handled by Art Pack Inc. and Julien’s Auctions, with varying shipping times and charges based on the buyer’s location and the nature of the purchased items.
Bidders under the age of eighteen require written consent from a parent or legal guardian to participate in auctions.
All bidders must register with Julien’s Auctions, and first-time bidders need to submit identification before approval.
All items are subject to a reserve price, which is the minimum acceptable price set by the consignor.
Julien’s reserves the right to withdraw any property before the sale concludes and to accept or reject any bid.
Bids must be placed for entire lots, and each lot represents a separate sale.
After the auctioneer’s hammer falls, the highest bidder assumes full responsibility for the purchased lot and must pay the full purchase price promptly.
Failure to comply with payment and collection terms may result in penalties and additional fees.
In case of non-compliance by the purchaser, Julien’s reserves the right to cancel the sale, resell the property, or hold the purchaser liable for any outstanding amounts.
Any disputes arising from the sale will be settled using arbitration in Los Angeles County, California.
Buyers do not acquire any copyright or similar rights to the property or images contained therein.
