Lindsay Lohan Faces Alleged Assault at Upscale NYC Hotel

Actress Lindsay Lohan reportedly encountered an assault early today by an individual she had welcomed into her room at an elegant New York City hotel, as per law enforcement.

The 26-year-old performer informed officials that she had met Christian LaBella, aged 25, at the renowned venue 1 Oak and extended an invitation to him and three companions to her suite at the W Hotel in Union Square during the early hours of Sunday.

Upon entering the room, Lohan relayed to authorities that she discovered images of herself on LaBella's device and confronted him.

Allegedly, LaBella forcefully pushed her onto a bed after she refused to return his phone, resulting in scratches, according to law enforcement.

Reportedly, Lohan fled the room and descended multiple flights of stairs where she encountered LaBella once more; he purportedly attempted to strangle her from behind, she recounted to the police.

In response, she indicated to law enforcement that she activated the hotel fire alarm, disabling the elevators and alerting authorities to the situation.

In expectation that LaBella might be present in the stairwells, law enforcement officers secured all exits of the hotel until his capture when he was caught trying to depart, as stated by the police.

He was positively identified by Lohan and an acquaintance.

LaBella, hailing from Valley Village, Calif., faced charges including two misdemeanors for third-degree assault and two harassment charges.

It remained uncertain whether the 25-year-old had retained legal representation or disclosed his plea strategy.
