Brad Pitt Assaulted During Maleficent Premiere

At the Hollywood premiere of the film Maleficent, which features Angelina Jolie, actor Brad Pitt was physically assaulted by an individual while he was autographing items, according to authorities.

The incident occurred at the El Capitan Theater in California, where Brad Pitt, a renowned Golden Globe-winning actor, was present.

The attacker reportedly jumped over a barrier and struck Pitt in the face, as confirmed by Sergeant Leonard Calderon from the Los Angeles Police Department.

Despite the attack, Brad Pitt sustained minor injuries and was swiftly assisted by law enforcement officers who promptly apprehended the assailant.

The suspect, who committed the act of battery, was taken into police custody on charges of misdemeanor and detained overnight.

Sergeant Calderon mentioned that based on initial observations, the assault appeared deliberate; however, further investigations are underway to ascertain the exact motive behind the violent act.
