Jeffrey Epstein, the late convicted s=x offender and financier, reportedly used information about a romantic involvement between Bill Gates and a young Russian bridge player to manipulate the Microsoft co-founder.
Sources familiar with the situation disclosed to The Wall Street Journal that despite their previous discussions on philanthropy, Epstein aimed to involve Gates in a failed multibillion-dollar charitable project alongside JP Morgan Chase.
The tension resurfaced in 2017 when an email exchange between the two magnates highlighted Gates’ association with Mila Antonova, Epstein’s protege in software coding school, whom he had met three years after Gates’ affair.
The report from The Wall Street Journal revealed that Epstein funded Antonova’s educational pursuits and later requested reimbursement from Gates for her course in a subtle move viewed as a veiled threat to expose the affair if Gates did not comply with maintaining a relationship with Epstein.
Gates’ spokesperson conveyed to The Journal that despite Epstein’s persistent efforts to steer their interactions towards non-philanthropic matters, his attempt to exploit a past connection to coerce Gates was unsuccessful.
Notably, Antonova refrained from providing any comments regarding Gates.
The intricate web of interactions between Epstein, Gates, and Antonova underscores a narrative of manipulation and power dynamics.
