In a lighthearted tone at the Toronto Film Festival, where the film was being promoted, Knightley recounted a humorous exchange with co-star Fassbender regarding the intense scenes.

She playfully warned him against any real physical contact during the filming, asserting, “I've got a security guard stationed outside, so watch out!

You lay a finger on me, and there will be consequences!”

Fassbender, recognizing the humor in the situation, teased Knightley back, reminding her of her restrained position during the scene.
