Renowned for portraying the smarmy principal in the iconic 1986 film “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” actor Jeffrey Jones found himself facing serious allegations in Los Angeles, California.
The Los Angeles police took Jones into custody on Thursday, charging him with engaging a minor in s–ual activities and possessing child pornography.
The arrest stemmed from a search warrant executed at Jones’ residence back in November 2001, following accusations of illicit activities involving a minor against the 56-year-old actor.
Officer Jason Lee revealed that a substantial amount of potential evidence was confiscated during the search operation.
A diligent probe conducted by detectives from the Juvenile Division’s s–ually Exploited Child Unit spanned several months to scrutinize the claims leveled against Jeffrey Jones.
