During the latest episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher,” host Bill Maher playfully hinted at the possibility of Ronan Farrow being Frank Sinatra's son.
Farrow, the acclaimed author of “Catch and Kill,” has frequently faced rumors suggesting that Woody Allen is not his biological father, although Farrow consistently maintains that Allen is indeed his dad.
Maher took the opportunity to bring up the topic once again during their interview.
Maher posed a hypothetical question to Farrow regarding what his father would think about his investigative reporting career.
Farrow responded with hesitation, seeking clarity about Maher's statement.
Maher then clarified, saying, “If he were alive.”
It is worth noting that Farrow's father, Woody Allen, is alive, while Sinatra passed away in 1998.
Anticipating the question, Farrow jokingly expressed that he expected this line of inquiry.
He chuckled and replied, “I knew I was walking into that so I asked.
I didn't want to give you the soundbite of ‘Which one?'”
It is worth mentioning that Ronan's mother, Mia Farrow, mentioned in a 2013 Vanity Fair interview that Frank Sinatra could “possibly” be Ronan's father.
Maher humorously remarked, “I feel like there's no one more #MeToo-y than Frank Sinatra.”
He pointed out Sinatra's multiple marriages and extramarital affairs.
Maher then quipped, “You do own a mirror, don't you?”
in reference to Sinatra's reputation.
Farrow shared an amusing anecdote from his book, recounting a moment when he was investigating a story about an alleged love child of Donald Trump during the 2016 election.
Farrow revealed that he approached the family involved to offer them an opportunity to comment on the story.
He recounted the conversation, stating, “I said, ‘I understand what it feels like to be besieged by the tabloids,' and he's like ‘Oh yeah, you're a Farrow.'
He gives me this pitying look.”
When asked about Sinatra's potential thoughts on his reporting, Farrow admitted that he does not know.
He playfully suggested asking his mother for her opinion instead.
This lighthearted exchange is not the first time Maher has alluded to Farrow's lineage during their interactions on “Real Time.”
Farrow jokingly reminded Maher, “We're now three for three on times I've been on the
