The Australian singer candidly expresses her feelings, stating, “All I ever tried to do was love and trust this person,” while acknowledging her naivety in believing that he was the ideal version of the man she had fallen for.
Fire Rose recounts her first encounter with the country music star back in 2010, during a time when he was still married to his now ex-wife, Tish Cyrus.
She recalls how quickly their bond formed, with Billy Ray referring to her as his “soulmate.” However, looking back, she now recognizes that she may have been a victim of “love bombing,” admitting, “But I couldn’t have seen 10 years into the future.” With a hint of regret, she reflects on her younger self, wishing she could have advised, “Run in the opposite direction and never look back.”
After relocating to Billy Ray’s farm near Nashville, and eventually marrying him in 2023, Fire Rose began to notice a shift within herself.

“All of a sudden, instead of being my normal, lively, outgoing self, I became very introverted,” she shares.

In May 2024, Billy Ray filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
