In a candid revelation, Leslie Abramson, the attorney who famously represented Eric Menendez, has made her feelings clear about Ryan Murphy's latest series, “Monsters: The Lyle and Eric Menendez Story.”
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, she didn't hold back when asked if she had watched the show.
Her blunt response?
“That piece of s*** I heard about?
No, I don't watch any of those.” It's safe to say that Abramson is not a fan of dramatizations that depict her former clients.
Just like this new series, she chose to skip it.
“I will make no comments about my client, none whatsoever,” she stated firmly, emphasizing her desire to keep her professional boundaries intact.
While Abramson may not be tuning into these dramatizations, she did contribute a written statement for the new documentary, “The Menendez Brothers,” which is also available on Netflix.
In her email, she reflected on the passage of time, saying, “30 years is a long time.
I'd like to leave the past in the past.”
This statement hints at the emotional weight of the case that continues to resonate decades later.
The Menendez brothers, Lyle and Eric, remain incarcerated, serving life sentences without the possibility of parole.
Despite their grim fate, there's been a resurgence of interest in their story, largely fueled by social media discussions.
Many users are now advocating for a reconsideration of their convictions, igniting a firestorm of debate online.
Adding fuel to the fire, celebrity Kim Kardashian recently visited the brothers at their prison in San Diego.
