Prince William expressed optimism that Kate Middleton will accompany him on royal engagements in 2025, following her recent announcement of completing chemotherapy treatment.
This hopeful sentiment came after Kate shared her journey through cancer treatment in a heartfelt family video posted on September 9, marking a significant milestone in her recovery.
As the Prince of Wales contemplates his upcoming schedule, he is enthusiastic about the possibility of traveling with Kate next year.
William, aged 42, noted, “Hopefully Catherine will be doing a bit more next year, so we'll have some more trips maybe lined up.” This statement reflects not only his support for Kate but also a glimpse into their shared commitment to royal duties.
The couple has recently made public appearances, including at the Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall on November 9.
There are strong expectations that Kate will also participate in the Remembrance Sunday ceremony at The Cenotaph in London, honoring Britain's fallen soldiers on November 10.
Looking ahead, one of the significant events on Prince William's agenda is a visit to South America in the fall of next year.
He is set to attend the UN Climate Change Conference, continuing the legacy of environmental advocacy established by his father, King Charles.
During his busy week in Cape Town, South Africa, where he engaged in various activities promoting environmental initiatives, William emphasized his desire to approach his royal role differently.
“I'm trying to do it differently, and I'm trying to do it for my generation,” he remarked, highlighting a shift towards a more impactful form of leadership that resonates with modern audiences.
William's focus is not just on traditional royal duties; he aspires to lead with empathy and a sense of collaboration.
“I really care about what I do.
It helps impact people's lives.
I think we could do with some more empathetic leadership around the world,” he stated, underlining his commitment to making a meaningful difference.
After a challenging year marked by health struggles for both his wife and father, there was a newfound lightness in William's demeanor during his South Africa visit.
His casual yet stylish appearance—complete with a vintage check jacket and trendy eco-friendly shoes—was a nod to the younger generation he hopes to engage through his environmental efforts.
Among the personal touches accompanying him on this trip was a friendship bracelet made by his daughter, Princess Charlotte, which he promised to wear.
“She gave it to me when I came away.
So I promised that I'd wear it and try not to lose it while I was out here,” he shared, showcasing the close bond he maintains with his children even while fulfilling his royal responsibilities.
As he concluded his promotional activities for the Earthshot Prize Awards, William reflected on his ongoing projects aimed at effecting positive change.
“Who knows what's going to come next?
It all centers around those values of trying to help deliver change for and make those lives better,” he commented, hinting at future initiatives.
Looking forward, he envisions a time when his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, will join him and Kate in public engagements.
However, he acknowledges the importance of prioritizing their education at this stage of their lives.
“Obviously, they're at school, and I think that takes priority over everything else,” he said, emphasizing the significance of family amidst royal obligations.
