In an explosive open letter addressed to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr, declares that the upcoming royal wedding will be the “biggest mistake in royal history.”
Published in In Touch Weekly, the letter urges Harry to call off the nuptials, referring to their relationship as a “fake fairy tale.”
Thomas Markle Jr, who shares a father with Meghan, expresses his belief that she is not the right woman for Harry.
He questions why Harry fails to see the “real Meghan” that the world now sees, suggesting that her attempt to portray herself as a princess is becoming tiresome, likening her acting to that of a below-average Hollywood actress.
The letter, written just two weeks before the much-anticipated wedding, also highlights the fact that Thomas did not receive an invitation to the event.
He criticizes Meghan for inviting strangers while neglecting her own family, questioning her actions.
Thomas further accuses Meghan of abandoning their father, claiming that she used him until he was bankrupt and then cut ties with him when he needed her most.
He describes her behavior as selfish and suggests that her newfound fame has gone to her head.
Despite these strong words, Thomas emphasizes that Meghan is still his sister and family should come first.
He expresses his hope that a royal wedding would bring their “torn family” closer together.
This is not the first time Thomas has publicly criticized Meghan, previously accusing her of forgetting her roots.
Kensington Palace has chosen not to comment on the matter.
While Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, will be present at the wedding and her father, Thomas Sr, is expected to walk her down the aisle, the rest of the Markle family has not received invitations.
With just over two weeks left until the big day, preparations for the royal wedding are in full swing.
Prince Harry and Meghan have invited 2,640 members of the public to join them, including individuals who have demonstrated leadership in their communities.
The actual service will take place at St George's Chapel on May 19, with approximately 600 people in attendance.
Prince William will serve as his brother's best man, and the ushers will include Tom Inskip, Charlie Van Straubenzee, Tom Van Straubenzee, Adam Bidwell, Arthur Landon, William Van Cutsem, and Mark Dyer.
Meghan's bridesmaids will include her close friend Jessica Mulroney and university friend Lindsay Roth.
Princess Charlotte and Benita Litt's twin girls are expected to be flower girls, along with Ivy Mulroney.
Following the ceremony, Prince Harry and Meghan will embark on a procession through Windsor Town in the Ascot Landau carriage.
