In a candid interview with the Mail on Sunday Event magazine, music mogul Simon Cowell opened up about his controversial relationship with Lauren Silverman, who was married to his friend, Andrew Silverman, at the time.
Cowell admitted that he is “not proud” of the circumstances surrounding their romance.
The news of their affair broke in July 2013 when it was revealed that Silverman was pregnant with Cowell’s child.

Despite the initial shock, Cowell expressed his overwhelming protectiveness towards both Silverman and their unborn child after attending the first baby scan.
He admitted, “I just absolutely wanted him.
I just hadn’t known that before.”
Their son, Eric, was born on Valentine’s Day in 2014, and he was named after Cowell’s late father.
Cowell also shared some insights into his parenting style, revealing that he has taught the now ten-month-old Eric to share and say please and thank you.
However, when it comes to his vast fortune estimated at €500 million, Cowell expressed his discomfort with the idea of simply passing it down through generations.
