Arnold Schwarzenegger, the renowned actor and former governor of California, is the focus of a new docu-series titled “Arnold,” recently released on Netflix.
The three-part series delves into his bodybuilding success, rise as an iconic action hero in Hollywood, and political career.
Surprisingly, the show also sheds light on his personal life and relationships, leaving many curious about his affair with hairdresser Sue Moray.
Alongside his successful acting career, Schwarzenegger has garnered attention for his extramarital affairs.
While married to Maria Shriver from 1986 to 2021, rumors of infidelity persisted.
One notable instance was his relationship with his housekeeper, Mildred Baena, which resulted in the birth of their love child, Joseph Baena.
Notably, he was also involved with Sue while still dating Maria.
Here are the details.
Sue Moray, a well-known hairstylist based in Hollywood, revealed to The Sunday Times that she engaged in an open relationship with Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1977.
Sharing their dynamic, Moray explained, “When he was in town, he would be committed to me, and I would live with him and go to work from his house.”
However, when they were apart, they had the freedom to date other people.
Moray added, “But when he was out of town, we were free to do whatever we wanted and to date anyone else we wanted.”
This arrangement apparently appealed to the former couple, and they maintained this relationship for nearly four years.
In a 2003 interview with Evening Standards, Moray disclosed that Schwarzenegger began dating Maria Shriver while still involved with her and consistently lied about his feelings.
She expressed her disbelief, stating, “All he ever said about Maria was that she was ‘just a friend,' but I didn't believe him.”
Moray further revealed that Schwarzenegger continued to stay with her for a year while simultaneously dating Maria.
However, their relationship came to an end when Moray discovered that Schwarzenegger had contracted a venereal disease.
This revelation outraged her, leading her to break up with him.
