In a shocking incident that unfolded on an Air France flight, renowned actor Gerard Depardieu caused quite a ruckus when he decided to relieve himself on the carpet in front of fellow passengers.
The incident took place on Wednesday when the cabin crew asked Depardieu to wait for 15 minutes before using the restrooms, as the plane was delayed in Paris and headed for Dublin.
Witnesses reported that the 62-year-old actor was overheard repeatedly saying, “Je veux pisser, je veux pisser” (I need to pee) to the flight attendants.
According to a passenger named Daniele, when the flight attendant informed Depardieu that he would have to wait until the plane was in flight because the toilets were locked, the actor refused to comply.
Clearly unable to control his urge any longer, Depardieu unzipped his pants and urinated right there on the carpet, much to the shock and disgust of everyone on board.
Daniele noted that it was evident Depardieu had consumed alcohol prior to the incident.
The plane had to return to the gate, causing a delay of two hours while the mess was cleaned up.
