Hugh Jackman, known for his role in Real Steel, has a story that rivals Gerard Depardieu's infamous airplane incident.
Jackman recently revealed in an interview with Rachael Ray that he once had an embarrassing mishap while performing onstage in front of a live theater audience.
The incident took place during his first show ever, where he was playing the character Gaston in Beauty and the Beast.
Jackman described his costume, which included red tights and knee-high boots, as very physical and challenging to perform in.
He experienced headaches every day for two months and sought advice from an astropath, who diagnosed him as dehydrated.
Following the astropath's advice, Jackman drank four liters of water before going on stage.
As he prepared for his first number, Jackman felt the sudden urge to urinate.
The routine required intense cardiovascular activity, as he had to lift Belle while singing.
In that moment, he realized that the muscles needed to sing were the same ones he needed to control in order to hold his bladder.
Unable to continue singing, Jackman had to abandon the performance to relieve himself.
Carrying Belle over his shoulder and not being able to sing, Jackman felt embarrassed by the situation.
Belle was confused and kept asking what was happening, making the experience even more uncomfortable for Jackman.
He admitted that he wasn't able to sing an entire verse due to the urgency to use the restroom.
Jackman's interview on The Rachael Ray Show, where he shared this amusing anecdote, is set to air on Friday.
This incident serves as a reminder that even famous actors can find themselves in embarrassing situations, and it highlights the challenges and unexpected moments that can occur during live performances.
