In her newly released memoir Inside Out, Demi Moore opens up about a previous episode of “infidelity” that occurred before her first wedding.
The 56-year-old actress reflects on her whirlwind marriage to musician Freddy Moore, who was 69 at the time.
Moore admits that being unfaithful forced her to confront some harsh realities about her life.
They tied the knot in 1980 when she was just 18, but eventually divorced in 1985.
In her book, Moore writes candidly about the night before their wedding.
Instead of focusing on her vows, she confesses to contacting a man she had met on a movie set.
Moore even snuck out of her own bachelorette party to visit his apartment.
Reflecting on her actions, she questions why she made such choices and why she didn't discuss her doubts with the man she was about to marry.
Moore explains that she couldn't face the fact that she was getting married as a way to distract herself from grieving her father's death.
She felt trapped in the marriage but decided to sabotage it instead.
Following her divorce from Freddy Moore, Demi went on to marry Bruce Willis in 1987.
The couple had three children together: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Belle.
However, they ended their marriage in 2000.
In 2003, Demi Moore began dating Ashton Kutcher.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Moore spoke about their relationship and the 15-year age difference between them.
She described their connection as a “do-over,” allowing her to experience what it was like to be young again, something she hadn't fully enjoyed in her twenties.
The Times also reported that Moore became pregnant after starting her relationship with Kutcher.
Tragically, she lost the baby, a girl she planned to name Chaplin Ray, six months into the pregnancy.
After tying the knot in 2005, Moore and Kutcher reportedly sought fertility treatments.
However, Moore's struggles with alcohol and Vicodin abuse put a strain on their marriage, leading to their divorce in 2013.
According to The New York Times, Moore discovered Kutcher's infidelity, which ultimately contributed to the end of their relationship.
Despite reaching out for comment, Kutcher did not respond to their request.
Inside Out, Demi Moore's revealing memoir, is now available for purchase.
