Eddie Murphy Shows No Interest in 10-Year-Old Daughter with Mel B

Actor Eddie Murphy is allegedly uninterested in building a relationship with his ten-year-old daughter, Angel.

Murphy and singer Mel B had Angel together, but her birth was mired in controversy as Murphy demanded a paternity test.

In court, it has been claimed that Murphy's lawyers have admitted he simply has no interest in getting to know Angel.

This revelation comes as Mel B's ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte, seeks step-parent visitation rights with the child.

Belafonte's lawyer, Grace Jamra, informed the court that she has tried to contact Murphy to discuss the request, but has received no response.

Belafonte claims that Angel has referred to him as “dad” since she started talking.

Jamra told the court that Murphy has had no contact with Angel, adding that she attempted to serve him with legal papers, but he has been evading service.

Mel B and Belafonte were in court recently to settle their dispute over visitation rights.

Mel B opposes granting Belafonte access to his step-children, Phoenix and Angel.

Although Mel B and Belafonte share a six-year-old daughter, Madison, Mel B does not want him visiting Angel.

She has accused Belafonte of making her daughter watch videos of ISIS beheadings.

In her filing, Mel B stated that these videos were inappropriate for young girls who do not comprehend the content.

Angel told her mother about these videos and expressed fear and distress over being exposed to such violent images.

Mel B filed for divorce from Belafonte in March, alleging physical and emotional abuse throughout their ten-year marriage.

The couple engaged in a bitter legal battle throughout the year, but on November 15, Judge Juhas of the Los Angeles Superior Court dissolved the marriage.

Mel B and Belafonte married in Las Vegas in June 2007 after only four months of dating.
