In a recent development, law enforcement authorities have released a series of photos that provide insights into the hotel room where comedian Bob Saget tragically died.
The release of these approximately 60 photos comes as part of the ongoing investigation into Saget’s passing on January 9.
These images, which were included in the complete report on his death, shed light on various aspects of the hotel room.
Notably, they were made public one week following the family’s successful legal bid to prevent the disclosure of specific documents and photographs related to the investigation.
During the Orange County Sheriff’s Office inquiry into Saget’s death, a total of 147 photographs were taken.
However, due to a ruling by Florida judge Vincent Chiu, only 57 of these images depicting Saget’s hotel room are exempt from any statutory restrictions.
It is worth mentioning that the remaining 90 photos will not be released to the public.
According to Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany, Saget’s demise resulted from accidental head trauma.
Reports from WFTV reveal that he also exhibited minor swelling and a small bruise near the corner of his left eye.
The Associated Press further speculates that these injuries may have been sustained from an impact with a hard object concealed by something soft, such as a padded headboard or the carpeted floor.
Among the photos unveiled on Tuesday were shots of the neatly made bed, the minibar area, the bathroom facilities, the hotel room door, and even a “privacy” sign.
