Dolly Parton Addresses Outlandish Rumors of Love Affairs with Co-Workers

Country music icon Dolly Parton recently spoke out against the outrageous rumors that have followed her throughout her illustrious career in the music industry.

In an exclusive interview with Exceptional, the 77-year-old singer dismissed the wild claims surrounding her personal life.

Parton took the opportunity to address some of the most shocking rumors she has encountered over the years.

“I’ve heard so many crazy rumors about me throughout the years.

The most absurd ones were about my back being broken because of the weight of my bre-sts!

And they’ve also spread false stories about me having affairs with every person I’ve worked with,” she revealed candidly.

Parton expressed her shock at the rumors suggesting intimate relationships with her co-workers.

The Grammy award-winning artist has been happily married to her husband Carl Dean for over 56 years.

She often attributes their enduring relationship to mutual respect and acceptance of each other’s differences.

Throughout their decades-long partnership, Parton and Dean have established their own guidelines when it comes to workplace crushes.

Parton shared that while her husband doesn’t mind if she develops a harmless crush, she is strictly prohibited from engaging in physical relationships with other men.

Flirting and even falling in love are allowed within their boundaries.

During the interview, Parton also opened up about her decision not to have children.

The country music legend explained that she does not feel like she has missed out on motherhood as much as she once believed.

She revealed that earlier in their lives, she and Carl did contemplate starting a family, but she never felt a strong desire to become a mother.

“I had my career and my music, and I was constantly on the move.

If I had children, I would have stayed home with them and worried myself sick,” she shared.

Parton further expressed concerns about the current state of the world, stating, “With everything that’s happening, I wouldn’t want to bring a child into this world right now!

I always say that God didn’t bless me with children so that all children could be mine.”
