Two additional women have come forward to accuse actor Steven Seagal of s**ual assault, adding to the growing list of allegations against the Hollywood figure.
The latest claims involve incidents that allegedly occurred when one of the women was 17 years old and the other was 18.
Both women admitted to struggling with whether or not to make their accusations public, but were inspired by other victims who had spoken out as part of the #MeToo movement.
One of the accusers, Regina Simons, claimed that Seagal raped her in 1993 when she was just 18 years old.
Simons described how Seagal invited her to a supposed wrap party at his house, where she arrived to find no one else present.
Seagal then led her to a bedroom, where he allegedly assaulted her.
The second accuser, Faviola Dadis, auditioned for a role in a film Seagal was directing when she was 17.
She claimed that Seagal asked her to take off her clothes and then groped her during the audition.
Both women have filed police reports against Seagal, and attorney Lisa Bloom is representing them pro bono.
Seagal’s attorney denies all allegations, saying they are false and lack any real evidence.
The accusations against Seagal add to a long history of s**ual misconduct allegations against the actor.
In 2010, a former personal assistant named Kayden Nguyen sued Seagal for $1 million, claiming that he had propositioned her and treated her as a “s** toy” during a six-day period.
Other women have also come forward with stories of misconduct, including journalist Lisa Guerrero, who said Seagal once tried to entice her to a private rehearsal while wearing only a silk robe.
Actress Portia de Rossi claimed on Twitter that Seagal unzipped his pants during an audition for one of his movies.
Seagal has previously suggested that the women making these claims were paid to lie and accused them of having a political agenda.
He also claimed that many innocent people in Hollywood have been falsely accused.
Despite these allegations, Seagal’s attorney maintains that the accusations are completely fictitious and made up.
The recent press conference held by Simons and Dadis marks the first time they have spoken publicly about their experiences.
Both women expressed their hope that coming forward will hold Seagal accountable and encourage other victims to do the same.
They have both filed police reports against Seagal, but it is unclear whether an investigation has been launched.
Attorney Lisa Bloom, who is representing the accusers, says she has been contacted by other women wanting to share their own allegations against Seagal.
Bloom emphasized the seriousness of the allegations and the importance of accountability.
She denied claims that the case against Seagal was not gaining traction and believes that the story is just beginning.
