In a recent development, prosecutors have made the decision not to press charges against Caitlyn Jenner in relation to a fatal car crash that occurred in California.
This decision comes after a thorough investigation, which revealed no evidence of criminal wrongdoing on Jenner’s part.
Blair Berk, Jenner’s attorney, expressed their belief that this outcome was to be expected from the outset.
Berk stated, “We believed from the start that a thorough and objective investigation would clear Caitlyn of any criminal wrongdoing.”
In a statement to USA TODAY, they further added, “We are heartened the district attorney has agreed that even a misdemeanor charge would be inappropriate.
A traffic accident, however devastating and heartbreaking when a life is lost, is not necessarily a criminal matter.”
