Muhammad Ali’s Scandalous Affair Revealed: A Closer Look at His Complex Family Tree

A scandalous affair that had gone under the radar for years has now come to light, and fans of Muhammad Ali are not happy.

The late boxing legend, known for his athletic prowess, also had a tumultuous personal life, similar to Mike Tyson's shady past.

With four marriages and numerous affairs, Ali fathered several illegitimate children.

One of these affairs was with a 16-year-old woman named Wanda Bolton, who later changed her name to Aaisha Ali.

She gave birth to a daughter, whom Ali named after his second wife, Khalilah Ali (formerly known as Belinda Boyd).

Let's delve deeper into the complicated family tree of the boxer-turned-activist.

Ali's first wife was Sonji Roi, whom he married in 1964 when he was 22 years old and had just won his first world title.

Roi, a 23-year-old cocktail waitress at the time, did not have any children with Ali.

In 1967, he remarried 17-year-old Belinda Boyd, who later converted to Islam and changed her name to Khalilah Camacho-Ali.

This marriage proved to be the most tumultuous, with Boyd describing Ali as a “s** addict” in Jonathan Eig's biographical book, Ali: A Life.

She also revealed that Ali had a dark and evil side, manipulating her to the extent that she would book hotel rooms for his mistresses and agreed not to disturb him when he was with other women.

After their split in 1977, Ali married Veronica Porché, who had been married to musician Carl Anderson until his death in 2004.

Porché admitted in 2014 that she and Ali had a wedding ceremony while he was still married to Boyd, keeping it a secret to prevent legal troubles.

In response, Boyd claimed that the marriage was not legitimate and was nothing more than a scam concocted by Ali.

In the same year that Ali and Porché's divorce was finalized, he married his fourth and final wife, Yolanda Williams, also known as Lonnie Ali.

They remained together until his death in 2016, but did not have any children together.

Overall, Ali had a total of nine children.

With Boyd, he had four children: Maryum, Jamillah, Rasheda, and Muhammad Ali Jr. During their marriage, Ali also fathered two children outside of wedlock: Miya, daughter of Patricia Harvell and Khaliah, daughter of Wanda Bolton, who later became a renowned fashion designer, author, and real estate agent.

Porché, on the other hand, had two daughters with Ali: Hana and Laila Ali.

Laila followed in her father's footsteps and had a successful career as a professional boxer, retiring undefeated in 2007 with multiple titles to her name.

Although Ali did not have any biological children with Williams, they adopted Assad Amin Ali in 1986 when he was five years old.

Assad pursued a career in baseball and played in Major League Baseball, even being drafted by the Anaheim Angels in 2009.

He now works as an assistant baseball coach and recruiting coordinator for a local college, as well as an area scout for the Chicago White Sox.

Following Ali's death, his children reportedly received $6 million each from his estate.

However, there were disputes among the nine children over their father's $80 million fortune, as his widow, Yolanda Williams, inherited $12 million.

The details of Ali's fortune have not been publicly disclosed since then.

In December 2018, Williams sold Ali's 81-acre Michigan home for $2.5 million.

Currently, the boxing icon's estate is owned by Authentic Brands Group (ABG), the same company that holds the rights to the likeness and estates of and .

In an interview, Williams emphasized the importance of preserving Ali's legacy.

She sees it as her purpose in life to ensure that his legacy is not lost and that the world learns from his life lessons of love, wisdom, and human kindness.

She believes that Ali's legacy is a gift to the world and there are valuable lessons to be learned from his example.
