Caitlyn Jenner, the well-known personality, will not face charges for her involvement in a fatal car crash that took place in California.
According to reports, prosecutors have decided not to pursue criminal charges against Jenner.
This news comes after a thorough and objective investigation into the incident.
Blair Berk, Jenner’s attorney, expressed their belief that Jenner would be cleared of any criminal wrongdoing from the very beginning.
In a statement to USA TODAY, Berk stated, “We are heartened the district attorney has agreed that even a misdemeanor charge would be inappropriate.
A traffic accident, however devastating and heartbreaking when a life is lost, is not necessarily a criminal matter.”
The incident occurred in February when Jenner was driving her Cadillac Escalade, towing an off-road vehicle on a trailer, on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
As she approached a traffic light, she attempted to maneuver around cars that were slowing down.
Unfortunately, her SUV rear-ended two cars, causing one of them, a Lexus, to be pushed into oncoming traffic.
