Kim Ledger, the father of the late actor Heath Ledger, has disclosed his son's last words as “Katie, Katie I'll be fine.”
In an exclusive interview with Australian news platform news.com.au, Kim Ledger shared details of his son's final conversation with their family.
Heath's sister Katie reportedly cautioned him against mixing prescriptions, advising, “You can't blend drugs that you are unfamiliar with.”
The following day, Ledger was discovered deceased in his New York City apartment at the age of 28, leaving behind a legacy as a highly acclaimed actor destined for further achievements.
Portraying the iconic character Joker in “The Dark Knight,” Ledger famously delivered the chilling line, “‘Why so serious?'
He sticks the blade in my mouth.
‘Let's put a smile on that face.'”
Posthumously, Ledger was honored with an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his exceptional performance as the Joker.
