New mom Charlize Theron took a break from caring for her recently adopted son, Jackson, to receive the Ally for Equality Award at the Human Rights Campaign gala on Saturday evening.
During the event, the 36-year-old actress was presented with the award by her “Prometheus” co-star, Michael Fassbender.
She couldn't help but bring up his noteworthy anatomy, which was prominently featured in the film “Shame” back in 2011, as reported by E!
News.
In a light-hearted moment that drew laughter from the audience, Theron expressed her admiration, saying, “Your masculinity was truly striking.
I would gladly collaborate with it whenever needed.”
She humorously praised Fassbender for opting to portray it prominently, mentioning that other actors might have chosen differently based on her experience working with them.
Theron's playful banter is not the first time Fassbender's private area has received public recognition.
At the Golden Globes, George Clooney acknowledged the 34-year-old actor for taking on the role of showcasing nudity, jokingly remarking, “Michael, you can even play golf in that state with your hands behind your back.”
After playfully teasing her co-star, Theron shifted the focus back to the event's theme and accepted her award for her support of the LGBT community.
Emphasizing the significance of marriage equality, she stated, “The concept of marriage equality extends beyond just the act of marriage itself.
It embodies a broader message of inclusivity …
I stand by your side as an advocate and a friend.”
