Rae Dawn, an actress and the daughter of American comedian Tommy Chong, has come forward to share that she had a s**ual relationship with Mick Jagger when she was just 15 years old.
Despite the age difference, Rae Dawn insists that the fling was consensual.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Rae Dawn, known for her roles in films like “The Colour Purple” and “Commando” in 1985, spoke openly about her underage relationship with Jagger after accidentally mentioning it in a podcast with the Hollywood Reporter.
Rae Dawn explained, “In my mind, he wasn’t that much older than me.
He was 33, young, gorgeous, and had a great physique.”
She made these comments in an effort to preemptively address the story.
She further expressed, “It wasn’t a bad thing; it was fabulous.
It was totally rock ‘n’ roll.
He never forced me to do anything I didn’t want to do, but he was quite vain, always checking himself out in the mirror.”
At the time of their relationship, Jagger was married to his first wife, Bianca.
Rae Dawn shared that they met at a friend’s place, as she was friends with the daughter of singer John Phillips.
During their initial encounter, Jagger never asked about her age, and she never disclosed it either.
“It never even came up.
I remember thinking he was really cute.
He had this tousled hair.
I thought to myself, ‘Wow, he is beautiful,'” Rae Dawn recalled.
Their relationship progressed, and she ended up spending two nights with him in New York City.
However, she expressed concern about revealing this information, fearing that it could cause trouble for Jagger.
Nevertheless, she emphasizes that their intimacy was consensual, stating, “He did nothing wrong.
He never forced me to do anything I didn’t want to do.”
Jagger has not yet responded to these claims.
Years later, after their fling, Rae Dawn managed to convince Jagger to cast her in the Rolling Stones’ music video for their song “Just Another Night.”
Despite maintaining a friendship, their relationship soured when Rae Dawn publicly criticized Jagger’s behavior on set, describing it as “licky.”
“In real life, he was an amazing kisser, but during the filming, he did a lot of ‘licky’ things,” she explained.
“I mentioned this in an interview, and it hurt his fragile ego.
He hasn’t spoken to me since.”
The story of Rae Dawn and Mick Jagger’s consensual relationship at such a young age sheds light on the complexities and dynamics within the entertainment industry.
It serves as a reminder of the power imbalances that can occur and the importance of consent and communication in
