In a shocking turn of events, renowned actor Al Pacino found himself in hot water on the night of January 7th, 1961, when he was arrested in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
A police car pulled over a suspicious vehicle that had been repeatedly circling the block, catching the attention of the officers.
To their surprise, they discovered three individuals donning black masks and gloves inside the car.
Further investigation led the officers to uncover a loaded 38 caliber pistol in the trunk.
The driver, Vincent J. Calcagni, along with passengers Bruce Cohen and the then 20-year-old Alphonse Pacino from New York City, were all charged for carrying a concealed weapon and taken to the local police station.
With bail set at $2,000, none of the young men were able to afford their release, resulting in their temporary incarceration.
Pacino, in particular, spent three days behind bars.
However, it is important to highlight that during the interview process, the arresting officer noted Pacino's remarkable cooperation and assistance.
