Angelina Jolie Opens Up About Feeling Lost Post Brad Pitt Divorce

Renowned actress Angelina Jolie recently shared her emotional journey post her divorce from Hollywood star Brad Pitt.

The couple, known for their glamour and stardom, got married in 2014 after a long courtship but sadly parted ways just two years later.

The split garnered public attention when an incident on a plane involving the couple and their six kids came to light, leading Angelina to report that Brad had behaved aggressively towards her.

In a candid interview with French magazine Madame Figaro, Angelina revealed how she struggled with her mental health post the split, feeling like a different person altogether.

Referring to the divorce as a “complicated moment,” Jolie expressed how she felt lost and insignificant following her separation from Brad Pitt.

She shared, “I felt a deep and genuine sadness, I was hurt.” Amid the ongoing legal battles with her ex-partner, the acclaimed actress described her current phase as a period of transition, equating it to a homecoming and rediscovery of herself.

Uncertain about what lies ahead, she acknowledged the positives in her life and expressed gratitude for reconnecting with the good things, noting, “All these things settle in you and remind you of how lucky you are to be alive.”

In 2021, five years after initiating the divorce process, the Oscar-winning actress addressed questions surrounding her decision to end her marriage.

Speaking to The Guardian, she emphasized the weight of her choices, stating, “I'm not one to take such decisions lightly.

It was a tough call to separate from the father of my children,” hinting at longstanding issues in their relationship spanning over a decade.

Reflecting on her journey, Jolie hinted at the complexity of the situation, leaving much unsaid due to the sensitive nature of the matter.
