Anna Faris Opens Up About Feeling Insecure When Chris Pratt Worked with Jennifer Lawrence

In a recent revelation, Anna Faris candidly discussed her feelings of insecurity when her ex-husband, Chris Pratt, worked alongside Jennifer Lawrence in the film Passengers.

The Mom star shared her thoughts on her podcast, Unqualified, stating that she was hurt by the rumors surrounding their alleged affair.

Faris delves deeper into this period in her newly published memoir, also titled Unqualified.

She discloses that she was forewarned about the potential rumors surrounding Lawrence and Pratt even before the production of Passengers began.

According to Us Weekly, Faris recounts a conversation with her publicist who alerted her to the possibility of paparazzi capturing moments between Pratt and Lawrence.

“There are going to be shots of them laughing together on their way to set.

There are going to be stories circulating, and you have to brace yourself for this,” her publicist had said.

Initially, Pratt struggled to comprehend why Faris was feeling down.

However, he eventually came around and empathized with her.

Faris writes, “I didn't want to pay attention to the stories, but I couldn't block them all out, either.

I'd always taken pride in our relationship, and the coverage, even though it was just false rumors, was making me feel insecure.”

Despite the difficult situation, Faris holds no animosity towards Lawrence.

In fact, she reveals that the Hunger Games star personally apologized for the negative impact caused by the rumor mill surrounding Passengers.

“Jennifer and I really are friendly, and she was apologetic even though she didn't need to be, because she hadn't done anything wrong,” Faris shares.

“She's awesome, but of course it's hurtful and also embarrassing when people are saying your husband is cheating on you—even if it's patently untrue.

You still feel, and look, like a fool.”
