The highly anticipated auction of an alleged intimate recording involving Marilyn Monroe, former US President John F. Kennedy, and his brother Robert F. Kennedy has been abruptly called off.
The tape, claimed to be authentic and never previously disclosed, was set to go under the hammer.
William Castleberry, a former bodyguard from Hollywood, had initially disclosed to TMZ.com that the controversial recording was confiscated from his residence and was slated for auction to settle a $200,000 legal ruling against him.
However, the Tulare County Sheriff's Department has informed the entertainment news site that the planned auction has been scrapped following Castleberry
