Bette Davis’ Daughter Sheds Light on Her Mother’s Unconventional Past

While the current TV series Feud delves into the famous rivalry between Davis and Joan Crawford, it is Davis' ongoing dispute with her eldest daughter that has captured attention.

Hyman, now 69 and a devout Christian, has shared exclusive details in a series of YouTube videos titled A Long Day's Journey Into Light.

Although these videos were recorded in the '90s and date back to 2015, they are once again gaining popularity.

Hyman makes startling claims, disclosing that Davis dabbled in witchcraft and would cast spells on her enemies from the confines of her bed.

She even recounts witnessing her mother's transformation into a Satanic figure, complete with a demonic face and long claws.

These revelations come more than two decades after Davis passed away from bre-st cancer, suggesting that Hyman still harbors bitter sentiments towards their toxic relationship.

In one video, Hyman describes how Davis would sit on her bed with a large metal wastebasket nearby.

She would have her secretary retrieve an article of clothing from someone who had crossed her, and then proceed to mutter incoherently while setting the garment ablaze.

As the fabric burned, Davis would laugh, dropping it into the metal container.

It is worth mentioning that Hyman's negative feelings towards her mother are not recent developments.

In 1985, she published a tell-all book titled My Mother's Keeper: A Daughter's Candid Portrait of Her Famous Mother, which marked the beginning of their deteriorating relationship.

Davis, unable to forgive her daughter for the book's contents, was deeply affected by its publication.

In one of the videos, Hyman reveals her ongoing torment, stating that “even though mother had died in 1989, the demons that had been attached to her were still working actively against us.”

Unfortunately, it appears that Hyman has not yet found it within herself to forgive her mother either.
