Bill Cosby Faces s**ual Assault Lawsuit from Nine Women in Nevada

In a recent development, nine women have filed a s**ual assault lawsuit against in Nevada.

This comes just weeks after the state passed a law that eliminates the statute of limitations for civil cases related to s**ual abuse.

The lawsuit, which was filed in U.S. District Court for Nevada, alleges that Cosby used his immense power, fame, and prestige to isolate and s**ually assault each of the nine women mentioned in the lawsuit.

Among the accusers are Janice Dickinson, Lise-Lotte Lublin, Janice Baker Kinney, Lili Bernard, Heidi Thomas, Linda Kirkpatrick, Rebecca Cooper, Pam Joy Abeyta, and Angela Leslie.

NBC News Daily anchor Kate Snow has secured an exclusive interview with some of these women, which is set to air on Thursday.

Cosby has faced numerous public accusations of s**ual misconduct, ranging from groping to rape, by over 60 women.

Many of these allegations date back several decades but have resurfaced as states revise their statutes defining how courts handle s**ual misconduct cases.

Andrew Wyatt, Cosby's spokesperson, has accused the women suing Cosby of being motivated by their “addiction to massive amounts of media attention and greed.”

He stated that they will no longer allow these women to make various claims against Cosby without vetting them in the court of public opinion and inside the courtroom.

It is important to note that Cosby, who is now 85 years old, has consistently denied all allegations of s**ual abuse.

While he has not been convicted of any criminal charges, he was found civilly liable last year for molesting Judy Huth in 1975.

However, his attorneys have labeled her a liar.

The recent lawsuit in Nevada comes after Governor Joe Lombardo signed SB129, which removed the civil statute of limitations in s**ual abuse cases involving adults.

Prior to this, the state had a two-year cutoff for adults to bring forth their cases in court.

Lise-Lotte Lublin, a Nevada native and one of the accusers in the lawsuit, played a crucial role in advocating for the new legislation that enabled this civil claim.

Lublin has publicly accused Cosby of drugging her at a Las Vegas hotel in 1989.

According to her account, she met Cosby in his room for an acting evaluation, where he gave her drinks to help her relax.

However, these drinks left her feeling disoriented, and Cosby proceeded to assault her.

Janice Baker-Kinney, another accuser, claims that she was invited to a party at Cosby's home in Reno in 1982.

When she arrived, Cosby was alone and offered her what she believed were barbiturates, causing her to lose consciousness.

When she woke up, her pants were undone, and Cosby was groping her.

Both Lublin and Baker-Kinney testified against Cosby in his criminal case in Pennsylvania.

However, his conviction was overturned by the Supreme Court due to a violation of his protection against self-incrimination.

Heidi Thomas, another accuser, traveled from Denver to Cosby's home in Reno in 1984 under the impression that he would offer her mentoring.

After struggling with a scene, Cosby offered her an alcoholic beverage that caused her to lose consciousness.

When she woke up, she found Cosby assaulting her.

Lili Bernard, who met Cosby in 1990, alleges that he drugged her during a mentoring session in Las Vegas.

She woke up n^ked with Cosby by her feet and was unable to stop him from raping her due to the drink she consumed.

The other women in the lawsuit have similar accounts of being drugged by Cosby before he assaulted them.

Linda Kirkpatrick met him while playing tennis in Las Vegas in 1981.

Rebecca Cooper was a massage therapist who met Cosby at a health club.

Janice Dickinson was invited to Lake Tahoe in 1982 to discuss work opportunities.

Angela Leslie was invited to Las Vegas for mentoring purposes, and Pam Joy Abeyta met Cosby after one of his shows in 1979.

Cosby is also facing a civil lawsuit in California, filed by former Playboy model Victoria Valentino, who accuses him of drugging and raping her in 1969.

These allegations against Cosby continue to highlight the issue of s**ual abuse and the importance of providing justice and support to survivors.

The legal proceedings in Nevada will shed further light on these claims and their potential implications for Cosby's future.
