Bond Girl Jane Seymour Fondly Remembers Sir Roger Moore’s Exceptional Kissing Skills

The passing of Sir Roger Moore, the iconic James Bond actor who graced the screens from 1973 to 1985, has left a void in the hearts of many.

Succumbing to cancer at the age of 89 in Switzerland, his departure is mourned by numerous admirers, including his co-star, Jane Seymour.

Seymour, who made her debut alongside Moore in the 1973 film “Live and Let Die,” reminisced about her experiences working with him, shedding light on their on-screen chemistry and the challenges they faced while filming intimate scenes.

Despite their characters exuding romance on screen, Seymour disclosed that behind the scenes, their interactions were far from amorous.

Recalling a particular day of shooting a bedroom scene, she recounted a humorous incident where Moore playfully suggested they dine on liver and onions, leading her to believe it was a jest until he sincerely ordered the unappetizing dish, evoking laughter from Seymour.

Describing the filming process as nerve-wracking and devoid of allure, Seymour shared an anecdote about falling asleep during the lengthy setup for a scene, only to be roused from her slumber.

Despite the lack of explicit romantic scenes, she commended Moore for his gentlemanly demeanor and adeptness at kissing.

Moreover, Seymour unveiled a moment during production where uncontrollable laughter hindered their performance, necessitating the use of body doubles to complete a crucial scene set on a train.

The comical episode exemplified the camaraderie shared between the two actors, showcasing their playful rapport off-camera.

Following Moore’s demise, his family released a heartfelt statement on social media, announcing his passing with profound sorrow and emphasizing the deep impact of the loss on their lives and the broader community.

Moore’s portrayal of the suave MI6 agent endeared him to audiences globally, solidifying his status as the longest-serving actor to embody the iconic character in seven films.

Reflecting on his illustrious career, Moore expressed a desire to have starred in the acclaimed film “Lawrence of Arabia” during a candid Q&A session in London last year, underscoring his admiration for cinematic excellence and his relentless pursuit of challenging roles beyond the espionage realm.

His legacy as a versatile actor and charismatic personality resonates with fans and peers alike, leaving an indelible mark on the entertainment industry.
