Britney Spears Reveals Details of Past Infidelity in New Memoir

Britney Spears has shared insights about a moment of infidelity in her past relationship with Justin Timberlake in her latest book, The Woman in Me.

In her memoir, the renowned singer delves into the intricate dynamics of her romantic history, shedding light on her brief marriage and tumultuous love affair with the former NSYNC member.

Ahead of the official launch of her memoir scheduled for 24 October, snippets from the book were leaked by various sources, wherein Spears asserted that Timberlake, aged 42, was unfaithful during their time together.

However, Spears disclosed that the betrayal was not one-sided within their relationship.

Reflecting on their time together in the early 2000s when they had been dating for around a year, Spears recalled an incident where one of her dancers revealed hearing Timberlake boast about being involved with another woman.

“Despite rumors circulating about his interactions with other dancers and groupies, I chose to overlook it all, though it was evident he had been unfaithful,” Spears stated.

“It was one of those instances where you acknowledge the truth but opt to remain silent.”

She further revealed, “So, I had my moment too – just once, with Wade Robinson.”

Describing the evening when she was unfaithful, Spears recounted, “We were out at a Spanish bar, dancing the night away.

That's when it happened.

I kissed him that night.”

The acclaimed singer disclosed that she later confessed this incident to Timberlake, and they eventually managed to move forward from it.

Expressing her aspirations for a lasting bond with Timberlake, Spears mentioned details about an unexpected pregnancy that came to light.

Although Spears was initially enthusiastic about the pregnancy, envisioning a future with Timberlake, she highlighted Timberlake's lack of enthusiasm for the news.

“Justin didn't share the same joy about the pregnancy.

He believed we were not prepared for such a responsibility, considering our age,” Spears shared.

Feeling compelled to align with Timberlake's stance, Spears made the difficult decision to undergo an abortion.

Reflecting on this choice, she expressed lingering doubts about whether it was the right path for her.

“If the choice had been solely mine, I would have opted differently.

But Justin was firm about his stance on fatherhood,” Spears added.

Following their separation, Spears faced intense scrutiny from the media, while Timberlake subtly hinted at the infidelity through his music video “Cry Me a River,” featuring an actress resembling Spears engaged in a cheating scandal.

Subsequent to the media backlash, Spears found solace in Madonna, who acted as a guiding figure during her stay at Cher's residence in New York City, navigating through a period of profound uncertainty.
