The tragic incident took place in Northern Ireland last month, where two women lost their lives in a head-on collision.
On Monday, the 25-year-old actor, Matthew Broderick, made his way to a makeshift court set up within the premises of Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital.
Despite being on crutches due to injuries sustained from the crash, he attended the hearing.
However, Broderick chose not to enter a plea at this stage.
The court granted him bail, requiring a payment of $4,000, until his trial scheduled for March.
If found guilty, the maximum penalty for the offense carries a sentence of five years imprisonment along with a fine.
