Broderick, a well-known actor in the American film industry, has been charged with reckless driving causing death after being involved in a tragic head-on collision in Northern Ireland.

The incident resulted in the loss of two women’s lives.

On Monday, the 25-year-old star of popular films such as “War Games” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” appeared at a makeshift court located within Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital, where he arrived using crutches due to his injuries sustained in the crash.

Broderick chose not to enter a plea during the hearing and was released on bail amounting to $4,000.

His trial is scheduled to take place in March, and if found guilty, he could face a maximum sentence of five years imprisonment along with a fine.
