Carrie Fisher’s Revelation: Affair with Harrison Ford Unveiled

A stunning revelation has recently come to light, courtesy of actress Carrie Fisher.

In an exclusive interview with People magazine discussing her book “The Princess Diarist,” the 60-year-old actress disclosed a surprising detail – she and her Star Wars co-star Harrison Ford engaged in a three-month affair while filming “Star Wars: A New Hope.”

Describing the intensity of their relationship, Fisher shared that during the week, they were the iconic Han Solo and Princess Leia on screen, but off-screen, it was Carrie and Harrison spending their weekends together.

During the filming of the 1977 movie, Harrison Ford, then 33 years old and married to Mary Marquardt, his college sweetheart, reportedly parted ways with his wife.

However, Fisher maintains that their affair wasn't the cause of their divorce.

The affair between Fisher and Ford reportedly began in 1976, after a birthday celebration for director George Lucas.

At just 19 years old, Fisher admitted in her book that she was under the influence of alcohol when Ford offered to drive her home, leading to their first intimate encounter.

In her book, Fisher fondly recalls her impression of Ford at the time, noting his heroic appearance and kind demeanor that instilled trust in her despite her lack of experience.

Despite the recent resurgence of interest in their past relationship due to Fisher's book, the pair reunited on-screen as Han Solo and Princess Leia in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” released in 2015.

While Fisher has alluded to her book excerpts being taken out of context, she asserted that she would never divulge details about someone's private life or intimacy publicly.

On the other hand, Harrison Ford, now happily married to actress Calista Flockhart, has not commented on the affair allegations.
