A surprising altercation took place at the upscale Madeo restaurant in Hollywood involving actor George Clooney and romance icon Fabio.
The incident unfolded when Fabio, accompanied by friends, attempted to take photos near Clooney's table where he was dining with his girlfriend, Sarah Larson.
As per reports from In Touch Weekly magazine, Clooney misunderstood the situation, believing the photos were intended for him.
He politely requested the photography to cease, causing displeasure to Fabio and his companions.
Fabio approached Clooney's table to clarify the misunderstanding, but the conversation quickly escalated into a heated exchange.
Witnesses overheard Fabio expressing his disappointment in Clooney's behavior, stating, “I thought you were a nice guy.
Stop being a diva!”
The tension between the two celebrities escalated further, prompting Clooney to confront Fabio physically.
Fortunately, the restaurant staff intervened promptly, preventing the situation from escalating further.
Eyewitnesses described Clooney as visibly irritated during the encounter, mentioning that although he was consuming alcohol, he remained composed and not intoxicated.
Following the altercation, Clooney decided to cut short his meal, settled his bill, and departed from the restaurant.
While Fabio's manager declined to provide any comments on the incident, he did mention, “George is fortunate the situation didn't result in a trip to the emergency room.”
