Charlie Sheen, a well-known actor from the TV show “Two and a Half Men,” was reportedly assaulted in his Malibu residence by a 47-year-old woman named Electra Schrock on Wednesday.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department revealed that Schrock, purportedly Sheen's neighbor, was taken into custody for charges including assault with a deadly weapon, force likely to cause serious injury, and residential burglary.
According to an official statement from the sheriff's department, upon investigation, it was determined that Charlie Sheen was the victim of the assault.
While the motive behind the attack was not disclosed, sources mentioned by TMZ revealed that Schrock tore Sheen's shirt and attempted to strangle him before retreating to her own residence.
The day preceding the incident, Schrock allegedly dumped trash in front of Sheen's door, as reported by the same source that also noted Sheen as the individual who contacted emergency services.
Despite paramedics being summoned to the scene, Sheen, aged 58, did not require hospitalization following the altercation.
Schrock made an appearance in court on Friday as per official reports.
Representatives for Sheen were approached by The Post for their input on the situation.
This episode is not the first occasion where Sheen has encountered troubles involving Schrock.
Sheen informed law enforcement that he suspects Schrock of previously vandalizing his vehicle with a sticky substance.
These events unfolded shortly after Sheen disclosed to People magazine his achievement of nearly six years of sobriety from alcohol.
Reflecting on his transformed lifestyle, Sheen shared that his focus now revolves around parenting his 14-year-old twin sons, Max and Bob, whom he shares with ex-wife Brooke Mueller.
Additionally, Sheen has daughters Sami, 19, and Lola, 18, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and another daughter named Cassandra, aged 38, from his high school girlfriend, Paula Profit.
In a candid interview, Sheen confessed that the turning point leading to his sobriety was a moment when he had forgotten to fulfill a commitment to drive his daughter to an appointment due to his alcohol consumption.
This realization struck a chord with him, prompting him to make the life-altering decision to cease drinking altogether.
