Charlie Sheen, in a recent interview with Piers Morgan at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane, has refuted claims that he has transmitted HIV to any of his s–ual partners post-diagnosis.
When asked if he engaged in unprotected s=x after learning about his HIV-positive status, Sheen vehemently denied it, stating that he would never put someone at risk knowingly and questioned how he could face the consequences of such actions later on.
Despite allegations from past partners suggesting otherwise, Sheen asserted firmly, “No one has been infected by me.
No one.”
He addressed the accusations made by previous partners, emphasizing that their reactions and feelings were their own responsibility, as he stands firm in his truth.
The actor, known for his roles in “Two And A Half Men” and “Platoon,” disclosed his HIV diagnosis publicly only last November, though he had been aware of it for several years prior.
Reflecting on his initial response to the diagnosis, Sheen expressed disbelief and a sense of denial, hoping for an error in the test results as he grappled with the reality of his condition.
While maintaining that he had not engaged in unprotected intercourse following his diagnosis, Sheen admitted to not disclosing his STI status to all partners, citing instances where past confessions had been used against him for personal gain.
He revealed that he had paid significant sums in “hush money” to former partners who threatened to expose his condition to the public.
During the candid conversation with Morgan and the audience, Sheen shared insights into his career, past challenges, and personal life.
The event, “An Evening With Charlie Sheen,” featured moments of humor and introspection, including questions about his future projects, marriage proposals, and reflections on his filmography.
Addressing inquiries about his notable departure from “Two And A Half Men” in 2011, Sheen expressed regret over his actions and acknowledged that he would approach the situation differently given the chance to do so again.
Additionally, he touched upon US politics, expressing a surprising openness towards the possibility of Donald Trump becoming president and urging support for the candidate if elected.
In a lighthearted exchange with the audience, Sheen engaged in playful banter and reflected on his tumultuous past, indicating a sense of acceptance and humor about his experiences.
As the evening concluded, Sheen left the audience with a mix of laughter and contemplation, embodying his infamous catchphrase “winning” in both spirit and resilience.
