Courtney Love Accuses Brad Pitt of Stalking Her for Kurt Cobain Role and Getting Her Fired from ‘Fight Club’

In a recent interview with Marc Maron on his WTF podcast, made shocking claims that was behind her firing from the film ‘Fight Club' directed by David Fincher.

Although Love was never cast in the 1999 drama, she firmly blames Pitt for her exclusion.

During the conversation, Love humorously discussed how her late husband, Kurt Cobain, seemed to “ruin” things for her even after his death in 1994.

When prompted for an example, she recounted a story about how he allegedly cost her the role in ‘Fight Club'.

Love asserted that she had initially brought the project to Fincher and was set to play the character Marla Singer, which was later portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter.

According to Love, prior to the start of production, she received a call from Gus Van Sant, another film director, and Pitt.

They expressed their interest in making a biopic about Cobain.

Love described the situation as if “the Hellmouth opened”.

She regrets not taking advantage of the opportunity and later stated, “This is like 2000, no one has ever done this.

And 22 years later, I still kick myself for not having the shark instinct to be like, ‘sure' and f–k them later.

I went nuclear.”

Love further revealed that Norton, her former partner, broke the news to her that evening.

She claimed that Norton broke down in tears, saying, “I don't have the power.”

Subsequently, Fincher confirmed over a call that she was no longer part of the cast.

It is important to note that Love clarified her intention was not to insult Carter, whom she referred to as a “genius”.

Additionally, Love admitted that she has never seen ‘Fight Club'.

However, the ordeal did not end there.

Love alleged that Pitt approached her once again during a separate video chat conversation, discussing another Cobain project.

When Pitt expressed his desire to produce a biopic about Cobain, Love supposedly responded with skepticism, stating, “I don't know that I trust you and I don't know that your movies are for profit.

They're really good social justice movies.”

Love added that she believes Pitt fails to comprehend her or Cobain, asserting, “If you don't get me, you don't get Kurt, and I don't feel like you do, Brad.”

She clarified that the project Pitt mentioned had nothing to do with Van Sant's ‘Last Days', a film loosely based on Cobain's final days as a rock musician.

In a surprising revelation, Love shared that her friend, Cameron Crowe, once told her, “ was put on this earth to stalk you for Kurt.”

She claimed that Pitt has been striving for the role of her late husband since 1996.

These allegations from Love shed new light on her Hollywood experiences and
