In a candid account in her latest memoir “Inside Out,” Demi Moore, aged 56, discloses a previously undisclosed act of unfaithfulness during her earlier years.
The actress reflects on her hurried union with musician Freddy Moore, aged 69, and the repercussions of her betrayal that compelled her to confront harsh realities about her existence.
At just 18, they tied the knot in 1980, only to part ways in 1985.
Recalling the eve of their nuptials, Moore recounts, “Instead of composing my vows, I was dialing a man I had encountered on a film set.
I sneaked away from my own bachelorette celebration to rendezvous at his flat.”
Pondering her actions, she questions, “Why did I engage in such behavior?
Why did I not seek out the man I was about to wed to voice my uncertainties?
Because facing the truth that I was getting married to evade grieving my father's demise was unbearable.”
She adds, “I believed I had no room for doubt, having already set things in motion.
While I couldn't extricate myself from the marriage, I could certainly undermine it.”
Subsequent to their separation, Moore went on to marry Bruce Willis in 1987, with whom she shares three offspring: Rumer, aged 31, Scout, 28, and Tallulah Belle, 25.
The pair finalized their divorce in 2000.
Her relationship with Ashton Kutcher commenced in 2003.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Moore delved into her connection with Kutcher, aged 41, highlighting their significant 15-year age disparity.
Characterizing their bond as a second chance, she elucidates, “It felt like a redo, as though I could revisit the past and relive my youth with him – a sensation I hadn't quite experienced during my actual twenties.”
Reports suggest that Moore became pregnant following the onset of her romance with Kutcher.
Tragically, she endured a miscarriage six months into the pregnancy, lamenting the loss of a daughter she intended to name Chaplin Ray.
Upon exchanging vows in 2005, Moore and Kutcher purportedly explored fertility treatments.
However, Moore spiraled into alcohol abuse and Vicodin dependency, culminating in their separation in 2013.
Sources indicate that Moore's decision to part ways with Kutcher arose upon discovering his infidelity.
